A ‘gentle’ first week in my new job. This week has mainly involved setting up the administration side of the business (and this website, of course) after the Christmas period. Lots to do, not least sourcing a functional keyboard for my Macbook!

I spent several hours in the impressive Engine Shed centre near Bristol Temple Meads, meeting new colleagues with whom I’ll be working on new and existing Nature Locator projects. I start work on that in earnest next week, so there will no doubt be updates relating to that coming soon.

Another project I’m hoping to be involved with is having it’s funding proposal submitted next week, and if successful will involve the creation of some elearning materials, which takes me back to the area of work I enjoyed so much in the earlier part of my ILRT career at the University of Bristol. More on that if successful.
